"A Long-Standing Story" is an 8-minute documentary that explores the efforts of a group of dedicated volunteers who assemble life-saving medical backpacks for Ukrainian soldiers in the face of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. Some of these volunteers have left their homeland, while others are refugees, yet they come together abroad for a common mission.

The documentary highlights the challenges these volunteers face, including personal sacrifices and the difficulties of emigration and displacement. Their daily work involves assembling backpacks filled with medical supplies like syringes, bandages, and tourniquets. These backpacks not only assist the military but also have the potential to save civilian lives.

The film also delves into the personal motivations and the impact of their work on the larger context of the conflict. It serves as a reminder of the importance of humanitarian efforts in crisis situations.
